A

Android 8

Android 8 was originally a guard for the Red Ribbon Army made by Dr. Gero. He was created to kill Goku, however he befriended Goku and aided him in the last fight with Buu.

Android 13

Android 13 was another android created by Dr. Gero. He worked on him before Android 17 killed him. Android 13 tries to defeat Goku by fusing with parts from Androids 14 and 15, but was defeated by Goku's Spirit Bomb.

Android 14

One of the Android created by Dr. Gero. He is later killed by Future Trunks.

Android 15

Another Android created by Cr. Gero. He was killed by Vegeta.

Android 16

An Android created by Dr. Gero. He was awakened by Android 17 & 18. He was created to destroy Goku only. Similiar to Android 8, Android 16 did not carry out his mission and instead befriended the Z-Fighters and fought with them against Cell. He was killed by Cell and made it possible for Gohan to reach super saiyan level 2.

Android 17

Android 17 was one of two infinite energy Androids. This version of Android never run out of energy. Android 17 was one of them. He appeared twice, once in GT and once in Z. In Z, he was absorbed by Cell and never recovered. Him and Android 18 were friends until she married Krillin. She always disliked his childish behavior. In GT, he was revived by Dr. Gero and he fused with another Android 17 to create Super Android 17. He is defeated by Goku.

Android 18

Android 18 was the other Android that had infinite energy. She was absorbed by Cell and then spit out. After the Cell Games, she settled down and married Krillin.

Android 19

Android 19 was an energy absorber. He is killed later on by Vegeta.

Android 20

Android 20 or Dr. Gero. Dr. Gero created an android body for himself. He made himself an energy absorber, similiar to Android 19. He has plagued the entire Dragon Ball manga. Starting in dragon ball, he was the head of the Red Ribbon Army. Goku, single-handedly chipped away at the Red Ribbon Army, and eventually dismantled the group. In Z, Dr. Gero created several killer androids including the worst, Cell, who nearly destroyed the world. He was killed by Android 17 in Z. In GT, he came back with two Android 17 who fused into Super Android 17. He eventually dies.

Android 21 (Cell)

Cell or Android 21. Cell was Dr. Gero's greatest accomplishment. He had the ability to absorb energy and Android 18 and Android 17. He was a "Biodroid" consisting of organic materials. Genetically he contained DNA from all the greatest fighters in the universe. Cell terrorized many. He met his demise against a SS2 Gohan. He made later appearences in the after-life.

Announcer

Annoucer is the announcer in the World Martial Arts Tournaments. He has no specific name, so he is called Annoucer.

Baba

Master Roshi's sister. She deals with the spiritual world and can bring dead people back temporarily. The first person she brings back is Goku's grandfather in Dragon Ball.

Babidi

Evil magician whos plans were to revive Majin Buu. He looks a little like Yoda. His father was killed by the Kaioshins.

Bibidi

Creator of Majin Buu and father to Babidi.

Bio-Frieza

This is the re-construction of Frieza by his father's men. Future Trunks delivers the final blow.

Mr. Brief

Father to Bulma and head of Capsule Corporation.

Bubbles

King Kai's loyal monkey. He plays a key role in King Kai's training.

Bulma

Technology genius. Bulma has been part of the DB Gang since the first episode of Dragon Ball. From then she befriends Goku and they have miraculous adventures from then on. She eventually settles down with Vegeta and has a child, Trunks.

Burter

Third highest member of the Ginyu Force.

Captain Ginyu

Highest member of the Ginyu Force and head of the group.

Cell

Cell Junior

Creations of Cell. These warriors are very powerful. They are about 1/4 the size of Cell, but are almost as powerful.

Chi-Chi

Wife to Goku, mother to Gohan and Goten. She played a vital role in Dragon Ball, but in Z and GT she played an average role.

Chao-tzu

Tien's friend. One of the weaker members of the Z - Fighters. Not much is heard from him after the Cell games.

Cooler

Brother to Frieza. The strongest changeling around.

Dabura

Dabura or sometimes considered the devil. Was an evil wandering warrior until Babidi got control of him. Dabura was killen by Majin Buu. However, in the after-life Dabura appears to have a "kind" side.

Dende

Young Namek that aided the Z - Fighters in the battle with Frieza. He later came to Earth and became its guardian.

Dodoria

Evil henchmen of Frieza. Dies at the hands of Vegeta.

East Kai

Kai guardian of the eastern quadrant of the universe.

Emperor Pilaf

Evil emperor from Dragon Ball. After failing in Dragon Ball he went into hidding. He reappeared in GT and accidentally wished Goku to a child.

Evil Buu

Evil side of Majin Buu. He was split from Majin Buu, but later absorbed Majin Buu and then formed the weakest form Super Buu.

Frieza

Evil changeling. He owned many planets and races. He also has eliminated many planets and races. He even destroyed Planet Vegeta and all its inhabitants. Goku is the first warrior to defeat Frieza. He returns later as Bio-Frieza. [See - Bio-Frieza] After his death he makes appearences in the after life.

Garlic Junior

Evil warlock. This warrior fell to Gohan twice. He did not go out without making a wish from Shenlong. He is the only enemy to get the immortality wish from the eternal dragon. He is and will spend the rest of his life in the Dead Zone.

Dr. Gero

Evil mastermind behind the Red Ribbon Army. He also created several androids including Androids 13-21. His hatred for Goku started when his red ribbon army fell at the hand's of Goku. Then he began to make his android army to kill Goku. He spied on Goku for years, projected his energy growth and attempted to make his androids much more powerful then Goku was when he released them. He meets his downfall against Android #17 in his android body.

Gohan

Son to Goku, his power is the greatest. Anger feeds this warriors power. The power he derives from his anger in unfathomable. As a child he defeated the unbeatable Cell. From then the show changed from Goku being the star to Gohan being the star. Gohan later married Videl and had a daughter, Pan. He spent a lot time with his brother, Goten. When he grows is older, he teaches at a university.

Goku

Star of the show and savior for all. Goku has always been looked to as the savior of the universe. As a child he expanded on his powers with several masters of the martial arts. His tail always got him into trouble as a child until it was surgically removed. After marrying Chi-Chi he had two children, Gohan then Goten. He missed out a lot on Gohan's life because he was killed by Cell. Goku was the first to reach super saiyan levels 1, 3, and 4. Goku has always been the strongest. Goku and Vegeta fuse to form two fusions, Gogeta and Vegetto. In GT he is turned into a child, but still manages to obtain win after win. At the end of GT, Goku absorbs the Dragon Balls and disappears.

Goten

Youngest son of Goku. He is the youngest warrior to become a super saiyan. He never reached super saiyan level 2 although. Goten and Trunks fuse together to form Gotenks. Although their fathers are not best friends, Goten and Trunks are.

Gotenks

The dance fusion of Goten and Trunks. The dance to perform this fusion is very hard, but Goten and Trunks have never performed this fusion incorrect. Gotenks is the only other saiyan that can turn into super saiyan level 3.

Gogeta

This saiyan is formed from the dance fusion of Goku and Vegeta. He is incredibly strong and powerful. The dance that is needed to be performed is very hard and complicated.

Grand Kai

Head and strongest of all the guardian Kai's. This warrior is nothing but a rock punk.

Grandpa Gohan

This is the man who found Goku and raised him as his grandson. Gohan is an ex-student of Master Roshi's. Goku, transformed at the site of the moon, killed his grandfather by stepping on him.

Great Saiyaman

The Great Saiyaman is Gohan's superhero name. Gohan takes on this role so no one can figure out his powers. Unfortunately, Videl finds this out.

Gregory

Cricket type fighter. He is part of King Kai's training.

Guldo

Weakest member of the Ginyu Force. Killed by Vegeta. HAd the unique ability to freeze time as he held his breathe.

Guru

Head Namekian on Namek. He was the creator of the Namekian dragonballs. He died of natural causes.

Hercule

Big show off and a fan pleaser. He was credited for defeating Cell. His daughter, Videl, eventually found out that he did not defeat Cell, but it was Gohan who did.

Jackie Chun

Master Roshi disguised himself in Dragon Ball to teach Goku and Krillin a lesson in their first World Martial Arts Tournament.

Jeice

Second strongest member of the Ginyu Force. He is defeated by Vegeta.

Kami

Good part of the split Kamiccolo. Kami was once guardian of the Earth. He combined with Piccolo so he could reach full strength to beat Cell.

Kamiccolo

Combination of Kami and Piccolo Diamo before they split. Kamiccolo split to rid himself of evil. Kamiccolo has the credit of the Black Star Dragon Balls.

Kibito

Supreme Kai's apprentice. He was killed by Dabura and later revived. He aids Gohan in his Z-Sword training.

Kid Buu

After Vegeta removed Majin Buu from Super Buu Kid Buu was formed. Kid Buu is the pure form of the Buu forms.

King Cold

Frieza's father, this changeling is a bit stronger than him. He was defeated by Future Trunks.

King Yemma

Guardian of the gates to the afterlife. He chooses whether you go to heaven or hell.

Korin

Great martial arts master. He trained Goku over a span of a few days making him much stronger. He teaches Goku many valuable techniques. He grows the ever valuable sensue beans.

Krillin

Goku's best friend from Dragon Ball. Krillin trained with Goku as a child. Krillin was always accident prone. Always messing up and getting hurt, Krillin never has luck when it comes to fights. In the future Krillin dies many times and get brought back to life many times. Krillin gets married to 18 in the future and has a child, Marron.

Launch

A strange, split personality woman. She is saved by Goku and Krillin and befriends them. The only problem is that when she sneezes, she becomes an evil woman. When she sneezes again she returns to normal. This tends to be an endless cycle.

Majin Buu

Created by Bibidi, this monster was resurrected by Babidi. Eventually, after resurrection, Majin Buu becomes good by splitting himself from his evil side. He is then re-absorbed by Evil Buu to make Super Buu. Eventually he escapes and becomes Hercule's aprentice.

Master Roshi

A perverted turle hermit. He always wants to be with girls. Master Roshi is a master at the martial arts. His martial arts abilities has won him many competitions and titles. He has trained few, and his trained few have turned out great warriors. His special technique is the Kamehameha Wave.

Mr. Popo

Assistent to Kami and Dende. When Kami leaves to fuse with Piccolo, he assists Dende. His main purpose is to assist the guardian of the Earth.

Mustard

Henchmen of Garlic Jr.

Nappa

Head of the Saiyan Army and Vegeta's assistant. He is killed by Vegeta after losing the fight against Goku. He returns in the future, but is defeated again.

North (King) Kai

Kai guardian of the northern quadrant of the universe. He is referred to as King Kai. He has many arts of training. Goku was one of his pupils.

Oolong

Form changing pig. He caused trouble before he met Goku by kidnapping girls for housework (which did not work, because the girls did nothing). He eventually went to live with Master Roshi.

Ox-King

Chi-Chi's dad, he was one of Master Roshi's pupils. He fought Goku in Dragon Ball and nobody won. He used to be known as the tyrant on fire mountain, but he becomes reformed.

Pan

Gohan's daughter. She is one of the only saiyans not to become a super saiyan.

Piccolo

Son of Piccolo Diamo. He was raised with the idea that Goku was the enemy. At the beginning of Z, he helps Goku for the time being. After, he bonds with Gohan and ends the conflict. He later on fuses with Nail and Kami to reach a power that is similiar to super saiyan strengths.

Piccolo Diamo

Evil part of Kamiccolo. He is split and runs his own gang. When his gang is defeated by Goku, he avenges his gang by fighting him. Goku flies through his stomach and kills him. Before dieing, he shoots an egg off into the distance and Piccolo is hatched.

Pikkon

Student of the West Kai. His power nearly matches that of Goku's. Him and Goku tied in the Kai tournament.

Porunga

Namekian dragon. He grants three wishes

Puar

Yamcha's buddy. He also has the ability to change form. Puar does not fight at all and serves little purpose as time progresses.

Radditz

Goku's brother. He is the first enemy seen in Z. He is killed by the team effort of Piccolo and Goku.

Recoom

Second weakest member of the Ginyu Force. He is killed by Vegeta.

Saibamen

Evil beings hatched from seeds planted in the ground. Their initial power level is the same as that of Radditz's.

Salt

One of Garlic Jr.'s henchmen.

Shenlong

Dragon for Kamiccolo's, Dende's and Kami's Dragon Balls. He is later absorbed into Goku and they become one, thus ending DBGT and the entire manga.

Slug

Evil Namekian that was in Movie 4. He was the villian that summoned the dragon and wished for eternal youth. He was defeated by Goku.

South Kai

Kai guardian of the southern quadrant of the universe.

Spice

One of Garlic Jr.'s henchmen

Super Buu

The combination of Majin Buu and Evil Buu. Evil Buu absorbs Majin Buu and they form this warrior. Super Buu sucks up Goten, Trunks, Piccolo and Gohan, and uses their power. While in his body, Goku and Vegeta fight an image of Super Buu. Vegeta disconnects Majin Buu from Super Buu forcing Super Buu into a transformation. Kid Buu, therefore, is born.

Supreme Kai

Supreme Kai of the universe. He came to Earth to defeat and kill Babidi. He also came to stop the awakening of Majin Buu. He obviously fails. He aids the Z-Fighter in a few ways. He grants Gohan the mystic power and supplies the earring that Goku and Vegeta use to fuse into Vegetto.

Tien

Three eyed friend of Goku's. He fought Goku in the 22nd World's Martial Arts Tournament. Although both evenly matched at the time, Goku hit the ground before Tien, therefor losing the title to Tien. At the beginning of Z, Tien is the strongest human until after the Frieza Saga where Krillin takes the title.

Trunks-Chibi

The son of Vegeta and Bulma in the normal time. Chibi is different from future. Chibi is sneaky and a trouble maker. Him and Goten usually get in a lot of trouble. Chibi becomes a vital role in GT, when he accompanies Goku and Pan on a trip around the universe in search of the Black Star Dragon Balls.

Trunks-Future

The son of Vegeta (dead) and Bulma in the future time (When I state present I mean the end of the Garlic Junior saga). Trunks came from the future to the present and defeats Frieza and Cell. He then gave Goku medicine for his future illness. He also warned of killer androids four years from that time. He skipped ahead the four years and helped the Z - Fighters against the androids and Cell. He died from Cell's blast, but was wished back.

Turtle

Master Roshi's turtle and companion. In Dragon Ball he was saved by Goku and Bulma. When returned home, Master Roshi awarded Goku with the Nimbus cloud and Bulma recieved the three-star dragon ball.

Ubuu

Toward the end of DBZ, Goku meets Ubuu after the Buu Saga. He claims to be what is the reincarnated Majin Buu. Goku trains Ubuu, and Ubuu becomes Goku's only student. In GT, Ubuu appears to be a vital character in battles.

V

Vegeta

Saiyan prince and ex-warrior for Frieza. He appeared in Z and lost to Goku and the Z - Fighters. Vegeta is very high on pride. He was always upset about losing to Goku or when Goku would surpass him. Eventually he settles down and marries Bulma and has a kid, Trunks. During the fight in Babidi's spacecraft, he gave in to Babidi's magic and allowed his body and mind to be controlled, just so he can have the power to defeat Goku. Babidi was unable to control Vegeta, therefor Vegeta had extra power for free.

Vegetto

The earring fusion of Goku and Vegeta. This is the strongest fusion around. They fuse in order to defeat Super Buu. This fusion was to be permanent, but Super Buu sucked in Vegetto, which caused the splitting of Vegetto back into Goku and Vegeta.

Videl

Hercule's daugher and Gohan's wife. She was the defender of Satan city, until Great Saiyaman came around. When she found out Great Saiyaman's identity, she wanted Gohan to train her. Eventually she grew fond of Gohan and they married and had a daughter.

Vinegar

One of Garlic Jr.'s henchmen

Kai guardian of the western quadrant of the universe. This Kai has produced some great fighters. Pikkon is one of them.

Yajirobe

Overweight warrior that really never helped, but just relayed information.

Yamcha

Yamcha was originally the desert bandit in Dragon Ball. After the first summoning of the dragon, him and Bulma were together up until the start of Z. There they broke up and got together again to just break up again. He eventually gave up fighting and married someone.

Races

This section outlines the race of some prominant warrios throughout the series.

Human

Humans are more of a practical people, compared to a fighting or magical people. They flourish in their incredible technology and intelligence. Humans are out of touch with most other alien races, besides those currently living on Earth.

Saiyan

Saiyans are the opposite of Humans. Saiyans are fighting machine, built and bred to fight. Saiyans are thought to have a "sixth sense" when it come to fighting. They are not the most intelligent race, however their fighting skills and techniques are unmatched. This race needs to fight like they need to eat, drink and breathe. Humans and Saiyans are very similar race, gentically and physically, except for only a few minor differences. Saiyans grow long tails, when the moon is full Saiyans transform and unleash an immense power. Saiyans live much longer than Humans, and show very few signs of age.

Namek

Powerful race of warriors. They do not enjoy to fight, and only do so when it is necessary. The Namekians hold the greatest power in the universe, the power of the eternal dragon. With this power they can create a magical wishing dragon, summoned once every so often. The Namekian race consist of only one type, a male type species. They reproduce by laying eggs, which are shot out from the mouth.

Changeling

A very rare race of beings. Changelings hold immense power through several transformations. Changelings reproduce very rarely. Only a limited number of changelings usually will inhabit the universe. Changelings also reproduce asexually like the Nameks, however different.
